Marketing, Surveys and Reporting, oh my!

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Marketing Analyst/Specialist with three to four years experience as a Marketing professional. In this hybrid role, you will assist in the development and execution of marketing projects and lead the analysis of all iStock analytics as they apply to marketing.

In addition to general marketing responsibilities, this position will act as a marketing focused analyst and liaison with the business intelligence group. You will be responsible for setting marketing specific KPI’s, which will used to create ongoing dashboards for executives and management. Working with the marketing team, the Marketing Analyst/Specialist will report and analyze all ongoing online marketing initiatives.

You are a creative thinker and communicator, able to grasp concepts quickly, organize thoughts and communicate them to get results.

Responsibilities

Marketing Analyst

• Responsible for the measurement & analysis of all online marketing campaigns
• Analysis of marketing tactics to maximize marketing and sales opportunities against our set KPI’s (key performance indicators)
• Develop, conduct and analyze customer surveys
• Provide marketing analytical support to the Marketing and Executive teams to help understand online campaign performance, identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for change
• Conduct product comparison analysis and master competitive intelligence tools

Marketing Specialist

• Assist with creating communications plans for new product launches and lead the tactical implementation of these plans
• Prepare FAQ documents for all internal & external stakeholders
• Assist with creation of messaging points related to product launch while integrating into overall brand message
• Assist with development of sponsorship strategy to ensure all sponsorships are effectively increasing brand awareness and raising company profile
• Develop and manage contests from concept development to launch and execution

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Marketing professional executing tactical online marketing projects
• Strong interpersonal, organization and written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to gather and analyze data from various sources and present written assessments and recommendations
• Must have a solid understanding of all forms of strategic marketing activities including brand building, strategic/competitive positioning and product analysis
• Clear understanding of the principles of marketing as they apply to ecommerce
• Results-oriented, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prioritizing and managing simultaneous projects and responsibilities
• Online business experience is mandatory with stock photography, graphic design and/or related industry knowledge preferred
• Experience or knowledge of site analytics tools such as Omniture, Webtrends, Google Analytics, Email vendors and third party ad servers (DFA, Atlas, Eyeblaster, etc)
• Referred to as an Excel guru, you are also highly proficient in Word and PowerPoint
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, accountability, and proactive coordination are key requirements
• BA in Marketing or related field is preferred, or equivalent experience
